The artwork was done by Song Dynasty artist Li Song 李嵩 (1166–1243) and is currently held by the National Palace Museum. The painting translates roughly to Picture of the Merchant or Picture of the Shopkeeper. It is part of what is called the Li Song Lang Scroll. It is made of silk and is 25.5 cm long, 70.4 cm wide.
